Veteran Sydney drag racer Alan Ostey was unhurt when his Torana suddenly went to perform a rail slide on the Sydney Dragway concrete wall last weekend.
Competing at the 2200 Drag Racing Association’s track day, Ostey looked to drift a little out of the groove before the Torana banked hard left and mounted the wall, before bouncing back onto the racing surface and safely stopping.
All things considered the car did not appear to suffer too much damage, and fortunately a roll over, that could of easily happened in this situation did not eventuate.
Lee Davis from Western Auto Pics captured these images, and Fast Performance Videos the racing footage.
