Willowbank Raceway announced that 400 Thunder Drag Racing fans around Australia are set to receive an unprecedented 35 hours of television coverage of the 53rd running of the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway on Fox Sports and Kayo Sports, across Australia, and internationally via MAV TV USA and REV TV Canada.
The expanded broadcast deal will see the grand final of the 400 Thunder Championship Drag Racing Series broadcast as follows;
Kayo will livestream all Professional and Sportsman Categories over three days:
- Friday 11th June – from 9am until 5pm – 8 Hours (expanded coverage)
- Saturday 12th June – from 9am until 5pm – 8 Hours
- Sunday 13th June – from 9am until 5pm – 8 Hours
Foxsports Australia will broadcast the brand new 2.5 Hour “400 Thunder Championship Drag Racing Feature Show” that will tell the story of the sport of drag racing, the people, the families and businesses behind it.
- Sunday 13th June – featuring highlights and features from Saturday’s -activities – 2.5 Hours
- Monday 14th June – featuring highlights and features from Sunday’s activities – 2.5 Hours
Further to this, six one hour 400 Thunder Professional category post produced programs will be available to air from the Winternationals on Fox Sports and Kayo as well as the international platforms including MAV TV in the US and REV TV in Canada.
These programs will feature Top Fuel / Pro Alcohol / Pro Slammer / Pro Stock / Top Fuel Bike / Pro Stock Bike and IHRA Pro Mod, as well as coverage of our sportsman competitors.
Put all this together and you have 35 Hours of Professional and Sportsman TV Coverage from the 53rd Gulf Western Oil Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway on June 10-13.
