Willowbank Raceway has released a packed calendar of events for the 2019 season with almost 100 days of drag racing action listed, plus special events including the Queensland Auto Spectacular and blockbuster CMC Rocks country music festival.
Three 400 Thunder Pro Championships events will again be staged with the New Year’s Thunder on January 5, the Santo’s Super Thunder on April 19 and the championship finale at the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals on June 6 to 9. The ultimate sportsman weekend comes with Saturday Jetcar & Sportsman Thunder backed up by the Dash 4 Cash on the Sunday on November 30/December 1.
The Queensland Drag Racing Championships will be staged over seven rounds stretching from February to November while the popular Willowbank Off Street Series will again see seven qualifying rounds to determine the Top Eight in Street Car, Street Bike and Powder Puff to contest the final shootouts.
The Jamboree remains on its traditional weekend in August while 2019 will see the Kenda Tires Radial series conducted as stand alone events in March and June with the final round, Kenda Tires Radial Riot scheduled for September.
Also on the program are specialty events such as the Nostalgia Drags, Diesel Assault, Mopar Sunday, All Ford Day and Friday Night Lights along with a huge program of the ever popular Test n Tunes.
