Their turbochargers help power the fastest cars on the planet including the world’s fastest sport compact drag car and former Jamboree champion, Rod Harvey’s incredible 2600hp Toyota Celica.
Brisbane Jamboree’s new format will pack the fastest turbocharged cars in the country into one epic day of racing and the Factory Xtreme racers will be leading the charge, many with more that 10,000rpm and 70psi of boost on board!
With times now in the 6.1sec zone and speeds routinely exceeding 230mph, this category is arguably the most exciting and relatable class in Australian drag racing. The recent Winternationals proved that breaking records is all in a day’s work for Factory Xtreme and now several teams have their eyes firmly on the outright sport compact records of 6.15sec and 237mph.
The fastest boosted Nissans, Mazdas, Toyotas and Mitsubishis in the country as well as more than 100 other race teams unleash on Willowbank Raceway on August 30 for the Brisbane Jamboree is a event that should not be missed.
