The PremiAir Hire top fuel team look set to be a dark horse at this weekend’s Super 3 Extreme Drag Race after solid testing numbers today for new driver Peter Xiberras.
Team principal and former Supercharged Outlaws racer Xiberras has stepped into the cockpit of the PremiAir dragster previously driven by Luke Shepherd.
After purchasing much of the Cowin top fuel operation the team have been testing privately when business commitments allow. Today’s test session achieved the first full past for Xiberras with a 4.87 at 279mph.

Xiberras will join six other top fuel dragsters this Friday and Saturday at Willowbank Raceway for Santo’s Super 3 Extreme Drag Race.
