Determined to bounce back from a disappointing Pro Stock final loss at Sydney Dragway, Rob Dekert is more motivated than ever to reclaim his dominance. The defending NDRC Pro Stock Champion sets his sights on South Australia’s Dragway At The Bend on February 8/9 for the next round of the Pro Drag Racing Championship, targeting a record-breaking run.
Russell Taylor delivered a commanding performance at the Slinglift Nitro Slam today, taking top honours in Direct Mining and Industrial Top Doorslammers at the Perth Motorplex. This victory, achieved during Round 3 of the National Drag Racing Championship (NDRC), marks a critical milestone in Taylor’s campaign for the championship title and reinforces his status as a top competitor in Top Doorslammer Australia category.
After getting its 2024/2025 NDRC Top Fuel Championship season off to the best possible start, Hydraulink Jim Read Racing are hoping they can open the books on 2025 with similar flair at Willowbank Raceway’s New Year Nitro this weekend (January 10-11).
This Friday and Saturday’s New Year Nitro event at Willowbank Raceway will provide the perfect way to ring in the New Year with two huge days and nights of flame-throwing Top Fuel and XPRO Nitro Funny Car action.

It has been a long wait to kick start the 2024 edition of the Queensland Drag Racing Championships following extensive upgrades to Willowbank Raceway, but the short-sharp series ran to completion in December encompassing six rounds all up.

The 2024 NSW Track Championship fight is over with all the champions crowned at the Grand Finals. The second NDRC season launched in thunderous style at Dragway At The Bend for the Spring Nationals with a nitro double-header featuring Top Fuel and Nitro Funny Car combined with Top Doorslammer to start their chase for the title, as the venue showed its teeth as a record eater.
PremiAir Racing will head to its first competitive outing of the 2024/2025 NDRC Top Fuel season in less than four weeks buoyed by yet another successful test session completed at its home track of Willowbank Raceway last weekend – the venue for the upcoming New Year Nitro event across January 10-11.
