Well folks despite our best endeavours and prayers the rain god was against us.  We know this leaves us with ticket and entry fee issues –  we are looking at this and will let you know via the website and email as to what will happen.

The 2010 to 2011 year has seen the Mackay and surrounding region receive considerable more rain than previous years and well above the region average. The Palmyra Drag Racing Club has been greatly affected by the flooding last year and the extended wet season this year.

More than 200 racers will head to Queensland’s premier drag racing facility this weekend for the Top Fuel Championships at Willowbank Raceway across March 25 and 26.

Fathers and sons working together is a combination that can often be one of extremes, but for father and son duo Peter and Maurice Allen, the pathway has so far been paved with success as they contest the ANDRA Pro Series Pro Stock Motorcycle championship.
