Matt Czerny has unveiled some new colours on his Modified dragster, now carrying the support of Robinvale Estate Dressings.
Taking in the Easter Supercharged Shootout event at Mildura, Czerny was one of 20 Modified cars having a blast at the regional venue.
“We had a really good response from the crowd in Mildura commenting on the colours and also how popular the salad dressings were, which blew me away,” Czerny said. “We are very appreciative of being associated with a great company.”
The dragster ran like clockwork and behaved itself all weekend according to the team, with crew members James Hendry and Paul Keen getting the car turned around and making sure the driver was focused on what he had to do. Unfortunately the team would see a first round exit.
“A hiccup in the first round saw an end to our weekend after getting out of shape, however with seven passes in 24 hours we couldn’t complain. We have recently joined the ETS Race Fuels brand and have noticed a big difference in performance which is exciting, as we have a new engine for the new season which we can’t wait to dyno. We were also awarded with the Best Presented team and that capped off a great weekend.”
The team ventured out to Olive Grove in Robinvale on Monday, where the delicious Robinvale Estate Dressings are made. Table grapes, strawberries, avocado, olives and other fresh produce are all grown on the estate.
“We unloaded the car in the olive groves to take a few pics on what was a picture perfect day, with all the kids enjoying some seat time and some great pictures also,” Czerny said. “We will now take some time in regrouping before next season which kicks off later in the year.
“I would like to thank the following people that support and help us run this car: The Gallace family and Robinvale Estate Dressings for their support and kindness in showing us their great facilities, Simon and Regine from ETS Race Fuels, Paul Turner Race Engines, Spicers (Matt Christie), Vinyl Wraps & Graphics and of course my wife Sara.”
