If you love insanely fast sedans, Sydney Dragway has some of the best in the country racing this weekend at the Atura Championship Series on Saturday April 16.

The 50th anniversary for Surfers Raceway and the US Dragfest turned into a nostalgic talkfest as hundreds attended celebrations on April 10 at the site formerly occupied by the Gold Coast race track.

The Sydney Dragway team has promised to deliver one of the best race surfaces ever as the track crew look to provide the best chance for the 400 Thunder racers to smash national records at the Nitro Champs on May 7 and 8.

The craziest sedans in all of drag racing hammered the Sydney Dragway blacktop once again at the Australian Pro Street Association (APSA) Shootout in a spectacular display that only Pro Street racing delivers.

This past weekend Jason Stares became the new Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series Top Sportsman Champion and winning the ANDRA Championship Grand Final.

The ANDRA Championship Grand Final saw four new National Records set, one over 1000 feet and three over the quarter mile.

The ANDRA Drag racing Series came to a close last weekend with final rounds for Top Fuel Motorcycle, Top Doorslammer and Top Alcohol.
