Sunday’s final day of the Gulf Western Oil Nitro Champs is set to provide a show of epic proportions to a packed crowd, with Saturday’s performances headlined by Top Fuel and XPRO Nitro Funny Car well and truly setting the stage for further track and national records to fall.

After rolling his immaculate Moits Motorsport 70.5 Camaro in his first battle on race day at the Motorplex and having had mechanical dramas at his first appearance at the Spring Nationals at The Bend “JC” was understandably disheartened.

The Riverbend Nationals have delivered another fantastic NDRC show to the delight of a packed crowd at Dragway at The Bend, culminating in dramatic finals action last Sunday afternoon.

History has been made at the Riverbend Nationals with the packed Dragway at The Bend crowd witnessing the quickest and fastest ever Top Fuel pass in Australian history during qualifying today ahead of Sunday’s racing for the National Drag Racing Championship (NDRC).
