Les Rodgie’s Vanishing Point Funny Car took a big hit in Supercharged Outlaws qualifying during the 50th annual Gulf Western Oil Winternationals.

The pits are enormous here at the 2017 Gulf Western Oil Winternationals, so we’ve been navigating them once again to hunt down the cool stories building at this year’s event ahead of the commencement of pro qualifying tonight.

The 2017 Gulf Western Oil Winternationals are underway at Queensland’s Willowbank Raceway. We’ve spent most of today so far touring the pits and checking out the amazing variety in the over 500 entries. 

Australian Professional Drag Racing (APDR) have signed an agreement with the “Nitro Up North” event to expand the 400 Thunder Drag Racing Series at Hidden Valley Drag Strip.
