Last Tuesday the Central Highlands Drag Racing Association was formed with a meeting of over 100 drag racing racers and punters eager to begin the process of developing a eighth mile drag strip in the Central Queensland town of Emerald.

With a temperature in the forties and plenty of humidity to boot, racing conditions were hardly comfortable at Perth Motorplex for the third round of Top Fuel in the ANDRA Pro Series.
