Queensland Pro Slammer racer Steven Ham did not take long to make an impact on radial tyres, recording Australia’s fastest ever speed on radials over an eighth-mile.
John Zappia is adding to his stable of race cars with a pair of new projects to dabble in the exciting world of radial tyre drag racing, though his focus remains squarely on his Dananni Hotshots Holden Monaro Top Doorslammer ahead of a new season at Perth Motorplex.
With 2020 being a disruptive year not as many Kenda events have been able to successfully run, but Radial Redemption in September promises to be the event to be at for radial racing in 2020. Although the entrants are limited to states not currently restricted from Queensland due to COVID-19, this has not stopped the legendary twin turbo Mustang of RPM Melbourne from making an appearance.
