‘Fuelled’, the autobiography of cancer survivor, amputee and Top Bike racer Benny Stevens, has almost reached its goal on Kickstarter, with just 9% of the target for the book remaining.
With 18 days remaining to get behind the project, Stevens and co-writer Luke Nieuwhof are confident of the book reaching the production goal.
The writing process is already well advanced, with the book to cover Benny’s journey through testicular cancer in his early 20s, his decision to amputate a leg in his late 20s, and then his quest to become the world’s quickest amputee – along with some of Benny’s craziest stories along the way, such as the time Nitro Circus came to visit his notorious Shanti Town, or when he discovered just who ‘Pedro’ was in the hospital bed next to him. No spoilers, because these stories are going to be a ball to read.
The ‘Fuelled’ Kickstarter also functions as a pre-order option for the book, so if you have any interest at all in reading this story, get behind it now at: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/160320040/fuelled-benny-stevens-life-story
