Despite suffering catastrophic engine damage during their last trip to Perth, the O’Rourke Motorsport outfit is ready and rearing to go in their pursuit for back-to-back event wins at this weekend’s Westernationals (Perth Motorplex, March 4-5).

With only two Group 1 events left on the Australian National Drag Racing Championship calendar, racers are moving into top gear as they seek to gain as many points as they can prior to the season finale – Summit Racing Equipment Drag Racing Grand Finals – at Adelaide International Raceway on March 31st and April 1st.

When Team Bray racer Ben Bray spends his birthday (March 2nd) flying to Perth, he will be flying over the heads of Team Bray members Andrew ‘Andy’ Gault and Bernie who will be driving TBR’s Gulf Western Oil Transporter across the Nullarbor in time for the Westernationals (Perth Motorplex: March 4-5).

Jason Hedges Racing (JHR) are teaming up with Australian Pro Stock exports and current NHRA Pro Stock Team RTR Rob Tucker Racing for the upcoming Santo’s Super Thunder Event at Willowbank Raceway (QLD) on April 14 (Easter Good Friday).

This Friday evening it will be game on once again as grudge racers call out and dash for cash over the Sydney Dragway short track, all for bragging rights and the chance to win a bunch of cash.
