Darwin’s NT Titles has seen O’Rourke Motorsport’s Grant O’Rourke retain his second place standing in the Top Doorslammer championship, courtesy of a Top Qualifying result and a semi-finals appearance.

Okay the Nostalgia racing scene in Australia is not quite the same as seen at places like Bakersfield, but we do alright for what we have and recently at Sydney’s Cruzin’ Magazine Nostalgia Drags event the revival of the fuel altered certainly has plenty on nostalgia buffs salivating.

Rapisarda Autosport International will return to the NHRA Mello Yello series for the Lucas Oil Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway, Minnesota, next weekend followed by the most prestigious meeting on the NHRA calendar, the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Indianapolis from September 2-7.

Local Sportsman racing was an action packed affair at Hidden Valley this weekend as the 2015 NT Titles was hosted over Friday and Saturday nights.

More great track upgrade news with the Steel City Drag Club completing the last stage of the racing surface upgrade at Whyalla’s Steel City Raceway.
