Last weekends Super Sportsman event comprising a round of the Willowbank Track Championship was washed out during the second round of qualifying.
A Super Sportsman record entry of 125 racers lined up to compete in the unique two races in one format but alas mother nature again had other ideas.
The next round of the Willowbank Track Championship is a regular Sportman event on March 16th.
In some on track action, there was a number of Pro Stockers prepared to test for the upcoming Westernationals but only Denis Whitings new GXP saw the tree.
Kelly Corbett was making her competition debut in Super Comp behind the wheel of Collin Whilshire’s Datsun, Corbett was lightning on the tree with a .008RT for a 7.73 @ 177MPH on her only attempt.
Archie Kajewski dipped into the sixes with a 6.93 @ 206MPH in the Mazda6.
Low light was Sam Kiprios tipping over his Corolla.
