Third generation racer Britney Olive will make her professional drag racing debut, becoming the only current active female driver in PDRC Pro Alcohol, as she contests her dragster in round two of the NDRC/PDRC Pro Alcohol Championship this weekend at Dragway At The Bend (February 8/9).

Some may think it’s the equivalent to taking a knife to a gunfight, but despite the odds, running a small block powered dragster in Pro Alcohol has proven to be a successful combination over the years. For Frank Intini – who will be attacking round two of the NDRC Pro Alcohol championship at Dragway At The Bend (Feb 8/9) – it will be the continuation of a lifelong challenge in a dragster that boasts an impressive pedigree.

At the last weekend’s QDRC event at Willowbank Raceway Cheyne Phillips, son of the legendary Gary Phillips showed up with some new kit – a stunning new Chevy Camaro Pro Alcohol Funny Car. Now in a double-twist, the Phillips Racing team have rocked up to Sydney Dragway for the first round of the NDRC Pro Alcohol Championship this weekend with the funny car instead of the altered.

Behind the butterfly wheel of the Gulf Western Oil Sainty/Holmes Funny Car at just 22 years old, Cruz Lovering will be going head to head with a field of seasoned performers that includes the best there ever has been in Pro Alcohol this weekend (November 15/16) at Sydney Dragway.

Pro Alcohol will field some new looks for their final round of the NDRC series at the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals after the unveiling of a few surprises at Warm Ups this weekend.

From Nitro Funny Car track records that were broken and then re-broken, to a history-making Top Doorslammer final match-up, day one of the Goldenstates has been a truly amazing affair for the NDRC in Perth Friday evening.

The inaugural NDRC Pro Alcohol Championship event quickly became one to forget for Gary Phillips after the many time Australian champion suffered a horrendous fire in the first qualifying session. The team have since shared an update on the incident and dramatic in-car footage.

Russell Mills well and truly made his mark at the season-opener for NDRC Pro Alcohol at the Sydney Nationals with a record-setting display on his way to the event victory – now he is lining up for back-to-back events on opposite sides of the country as he looks to continue his title pursuit.
