The 2025 Pro Mod Drag Racing Season was nothing short of spectacular. With 29 racers taking part across the country in the Championship, this year firmly established Pro Mod as one of the most exciting and fastest-growing classes in Australian drag racing. The field was stacked with incredible talent and an awe-inspiring mix of machinery — from thunderous supercharged beasts to precision-tuned turbocharged machines and hard-hitting nitrous-powered sedans. Every round delivered edge-of-your-seat racing and unforgettable performances.

Every so often, a racetrack comes along that resets the bar. Right now, that place is The Bend Dragway in South Australia. Still the newest facility in Australian drag racing, it’s fast earning a reputation as the country’s ultimate benchmark — smooth, quick, and record-breaking.

Joe Gauci is ready to rumble at the Brisbane Jamboree in the toughest Pro Mod field ever assembled in Australia. It’s been just over 12 months since the Nitro Champs accident to rebuild the ’67 Mustang at Profab Motorsport Fabrications and final result is sleek and stunning.

Jeff Cutajar cut his first laps in the original and once world record holding Batmobile Top Doorslammer campaigned by Peter Kapiris. The car now owned by Jason Cunliffe has finally been returned to its former glory and active duty, with a best of 6.17 during testing yesterday that was found out to be run on just 7 cylinders.

The highly anticipated debut of Johnny Ricca’s world record holding Pro Mod Camaro on Aussie soil didn’t disappoint, smashing the quickest ET ever seen out of a door car in Australia during testing at Sydney Dragway.

Simply wicked! That’s our best description of Steven Smith’s new Pro Mod which will turn a tyre in anger for the first time this weekend at Sydney Jamboree.

Long-time Sydney racer Nasser Matta and his family have taken the leap into blown doorslammer racing with their sleek 37 Chev. After a stint in Top Doorslammer, the A-Civil team has made the strategic switch, transitioning to PDRC Pro Mod where the team will continue to hone their skills and develop performance.

Hometown hero Adam Tassone is set to make his PDRC Pro Mod debut at Dragway At The Bend on February 8/9. Behind the wheel of his potent blown 1968 Pontiac Firebird doorslammer, Tassone will have the local crowd’s support as he chases his first five-second run.

It was one of the wildest drag cars in the country and the OG of the 10.5 movement, Frank Mamone’s black and blown Chevy Nova was an instant hit on tracks around the country. Now after a decade since the Nova terrorised dragstrips and timing cones, Mamone has re-taken ownership of the iconic machine and is planning his comeback.
