The upgrades to the Willowbank Raceway venue continue to advance in timely manner with the pouring of the new concrete racing surface.
Despite small weather delays, the laying of the extended concrete racing surface that will run past the finish line has begun. More drainage fixes on the side of the track have been added to the extensive drainage work being implemented to solve the excess water problems. Final preparations are being made to the rest of the racing surface ahead of the laying of new asphalt, while elsewhere at the venue, new toilet blocks are being constructed amongst other amenity additions and updates.
