A tough weekend at the 48th annual Goldenstates at the Perth Motorplex for round three of the Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship has ended on a high for the Hydraulink Jim Read Racing team.
The PremiAir Racing team have pulled off a massive effort at the Perth Motorplex’s Goldenstates with a complete rebuild between round two and the B-Final to take an edge-of your seat victory over Wayne Newby with a 3.982 second pass at 425.12 kilometres per hour.
Two huge days at the Goldenstates for the Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship and the Australian Drag Racing Championships for Top Doorslammer and Top Fuel Motorcycle have come to a spectacular close at the Perth Motorplex this evening.
The 48th annual Goldenstates delivered plenty of action-packed races on Saturday evening at the Perth Motorplex as the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series competitors did all they could to take home the silver ANDRA Christmas Trees despite the challenges of cold conditions.
