The Castrol EDGE Winternationals Top Doorslammer field is set to explode when the categories’ heavy hitters return to Willowbank Raceway for the event’s continuation July 15-17.

Two well-known drag racers returned to Hidden Valley Drag Strip on Saturday night, and they returned in fine form, taking out the top qualifying position and the win for the Outlaws bracket.

It was an inconspicuous debut during a test session back at the Willowbank Top Fuel Championship event, but the cackle emanating from the pipes once fired signaled the appearance of a rare breed, Stewart Prior’s Fuel Altered.

American Top Fuel drag race champion, Cory McClenathan, is coming back to Australia for the continuation of the season-ending 44th annual Castrol EDGE Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway, Ipswich, from July 15 to 17.
