Drag News Magazine issue 15 now out

Drag racing can provide its competitors with inspiration to get through different parts of their life and issue 15 of Drag News Magazine uses that as a theme for a personal and thoughtful read. We open with an honest interview with retiring Top Fuel Motorcycle rider Phil Parker, who tells us about his battle with cancer, how drag racing gave him a life worth living and what his plans are beyond the quarter mile. Peter Peirano is one of the most colourful characters in the pit area of any drag racing event but under that bright exterior he has faced his own personal challenges. We find out how drag racing provided a light at the end of the tunnel for the nitro funny car team owner. Shane Wynd is one of Australia’s top bracket racers and he tells us how a quick decision to travel to the USA was just what he needed. Plus event coverage from Lights Out at Willowbank Raceway and Sydney Dragway, an up close look at Jeff Lutz’s awesome Evil Twin 57 Chev including a pull out poster, a double dose of nitro from Perth Motorplex, sportsman action from Whyalla, Top Doorslammers from Calder Park and more.
