It is thought that a controversial figure will attend the Australian Nationals this weekend to take a look over the immaculate facilities at Sydney dragway.

The biggest cash prize in Pro Street drag racing will be on offer next weekend at Willowbank Raceway, when the 10.5 Outlaw Pro Street Shootout hits Queensland’s premier drag strip on Saturday September 18.

With heavily oversubscribed fields across all Group One categories qualifying will be intense, brutal and dramatic if last weekend’s test session at the Eastern Creek venue is any indication. In Top Fuel eleven Nitro missiles will make up the largest field ever assembled for a Pro Series round with all teams focussed on grabbing a berth in the in the eight-car field.
