Day two of the South Coast Nationals has seen the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series racers well and truly deliver some super performances today as they looked to claim ANDRA Christmas Trees in Portland.
Day one of South Coast Raceway’s South Coast Nationals, featuring the latest round of the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series, has seen more than 160 racers impress across three rounds of qualifying ahead of eliminations racing Sunday (3 December).

Day one of the 49th Goldenstates has seen Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series competitors entertain on-track alongside NDRC Nitro Funny Cars, Top Doorslammers, Top Fuel Motorcycles and Pro Alcohol competitors at the Perth Motorplex Friday evening in hot and humid conditions.
Events are rolling out quickly at the Perth Motorplex now there new season is underway with the WA Quarter Mile Masters run on Nov 11, an event celebrating the WA’s drag racing icons and featuring the first round of the WA Top Doorslammer and Top Fuel Motorcycle championship.
Typical October weather, warm enough during the day to trick you, when the sun drops to the west, the temperature soon plummets! Saturday October 28 saw the first major Drag Racing event of the season at the Perth Motorplex, with 114 teams entering into the WA Drag Racing Series Opener.
The new FuelTech Pro Mod Championship as part of the National Drag Racing Championship (NDRC) burst into life at Sydney Dragway’s Sydney Nationals at the weekend, well and truly signaling an incredible season of racing to come.
