The Riverbend Nationals was truly a ground-breaking event at Dragway at The Bend at the weekend (April 5-7), bringing no end of incredible racing from the entire line-up.
A new quickest and fastest Top Fuel ET and MPH record for Australia and outside the US and the fourth Top Fuel winner from as many events were the order of the day for the third and final day of the Riverbend Nationals as part of the National Drag Racing Championship (NDRC) at Dragway at the Bend this weekend.
Day two of the Riverbend Nationals has seen Top Fuel headline an action-packed program for a bumper crowd at Dragway at The Bend today with plenty more action to come for race day tomorrow.
The performances of day one of the Riverbend Nationals have forecast a huge weekend of racing ahead at Dragway at The Bend, with qualifying for the Aeroflow National Sportsman Championship – hosting its Western Conference final this weekend – and some impressive testing runs from Top Fuel, Top Doorslammer, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle competitors well and truly whetting the appetite of race fans today.
The tough as nails NSW Championship Series has launched for 2024 with a strong roll up of racers for round one. Despite some rain slowing things up, the event was finished on time with racers fighting to take early points to begin their track championship campaigns.
