The NT Nats saw some of the best sportsman racers from around the country head north to Darwin’s Hidden Valley Drag Strip for two days of racing.
It took a two week hiatus but the weather gods smiled kindly on the re-run, and Grudge Kings 2K19 was won with a whole truck load of cash handed out to winners.
New South Wales’ Stuart Bennett took an axe to the Australian LS-motor record over the weekend at the Grudge Kings event, knocking out a stunning 6.391 and a speed of 225.22mph.
Grudge Kings 2K19 2.0 will go ahead this Saturday with perfect weather conditions predicted for Sydney Dragway, and with more testing planned for tomorrow as well. As a preview, check out the action from the testing over the rained out event weekend.
Hidden Valley Drag Strip’s Nitro Up North event underwent a transformation this year, with a switch from the 400 Thunder series and Top Fuel exhibitions to a round of the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars.
