The weekend’s Brisbane Jamboree at Willowbank Raceway represented not only the 27th running of the world’s largest sport compact drag racing event, but also the debut of the much-anticipated Ben Bray’s TBR Gulf Western Oils Toyota Solara.

Legendary team owner Santo Rapisarda has threatened to abandon racing Top Fuel in Australia unless the two major race tracks – Sydney Dragway and Willowbank Raceway – introduce 1000 foot racing for the 2017-18 400 Thunder season that commences at Sydney Dragway in November.

The 2017 Cruzin Magazine Nostalgia drags are set to hit Sydney Dragway once again on the 10th September, with added spice from the Aeroflow Nitro Hot Rods.
