Richie Crampton has won his third NHRA national event in Las Vegas.

Local racers have dominated at Willowbank Raceway’s round of the national Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series on Saturday 11 April, with all but two of the final contenders hailing from the host state.

Dom Lagana will face off against the highly fancied ex-Pro Stock champ Dave Connolly in first round of racing at the Summit Racing NHRA Nationals after nailing eighth place in qualifying.

It was meant to be just another licensing pass attempt for Vaughan Greentree in the supercharged “Undertaker” Hearse at Sydney Dragway’s Day Of The Drags event – that was before all hell broke loose.

Rapisarda Autosport International and gun racer Dom Lagana have made a superb return to the NHRA Mello Yello Series finishing in eighth spot at the end of day one of qualifying at the SummitRacing.com Nationals at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

A huge crowd packed into Adelaide International Raceway for the Saturday night Easter show and eager fans were treated to some of the very best racing ever held at the iconic South Australian venue as a part of the Aeroflow nitro funny car show.

Toward the end of 2014 Davison Family Racing announced their return to ANDRA Championship Drag Racing to contest for the Competition Eliminator title in 2015 as part of the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series.
