Damien Harris will return to his home crowd more experienced this weekend after racing in the USA several weeks ago.

  Mark Sheehan’s Top Fuel dragster may be a rare sight but when it does come out to race it means business.

Since the late 1970s, drag racing has provided me with a mixed range of experiences. While still an avid spectator, I witnessed the sport encounter its first major setback in NSW – the closure of Castlereagh which, for too long, left the sport homeless in Sydney.

The Terra Civil/Hitachi Construction Machinery GTO has been spending a lot of time testing in preparation for next year’s racing round in Perth.

A sneak peak of Australia’s first full rotational track prep machine in action.

Former ANDRA Top Fuel Champion, Phil Lamattina will be taking a brand new FUCHS/Monster Energy dragster to the Perth Motorplex as the team look to build on the momentum gained at the FUCHS Australian Nationals in Sydney.  

O’Connor Motorsport was looking to take advantage of improved performances in the team’s XP Falcon Doorslammer during the Goldenstate Titles at the Perth Motorplex and after sorting some small issues, that’s exactly what they did.

Australia’s premier Drag Racing facilities – the Perth Motorplex and Queensland’s Willowbank Raceway – have today introduced a wave of new initiatives designed to make it easier for new Drag Racing enthusiasts to start out in the sport.
