Despite some less than favourable weather predictions, round three of the the Speed Adict Clothing NSW Championship Series at Sydney Dragway didn’t suffer the same fate as round two, in fact the conditions turned out perfect for some tough sportsman bracket racing.

At the recent EGT ANDRA Grand Finals event at the Perth Motorplex, which marked round three of the Burson Auto Parts Top Fuel Australia Championship – Damien Harris raced through not only for the event victory, but also new ANDRA ET and Speed records over the 1000ft distance.

Once again weather played havoc for the start of day two of the Gulf Western Oil Super Thunder event, and continued off and on for the rest of the afternoon, before the skies cleared and a full action-packed schedule of racing followed.
The first season of the new Australian Drag Racing Championship has come to a crowd-pleasing conclusion at the Perth Motorplex, with Daniel Gregorini and Greg Durack claiming the Top Doorslammer and Top Fuel Motorcycle Championships respectively.

The long-awaited return of championship Top Fuel drag racing to Perth Motorplex was finally realised on Friday night as six drivers made qualifying runs before rain cut short an exciting evening.
The South Coast Drag Racing Association, Wimmera Off Street Drag Racing Club and Beat the Heat (Victoria) have all been successful as part of the latest round of funding for Sport and Recreation Victoria’s Community Motorsport Program.
