Splatt chases issues in Sydney showing

Rachelle Splatt’s team had a few gremlins holding on to her Gulf Western Oil Top Fuel dragster recently at Sydney, but Australia’s ‘Queen of Speed’ found the positives as she prepares for the Winternationals in June. Splatt’s pre-event schedule was busy, with a display at Davis Distribution in Cameron Park, NSW that featured not only Splatt’s dragster, but also the D&D Land Speed Car Splatt will co-drive next year with Gemma Dunn at South Australia’s Lake Eyre. “While ‘the salt’ is certainly calling, we were pleased to welcome Gemma’s brothers Kurt Dunn and Mark Dunn as part of our Gulf Western Oil Nitro Thunder event crew,” Splatt said. “The weekend was all about Top Fuel drag racing and as always, we gave it everything we’ve got.” The team decided to skip Saturday morning’s test session, with their limited resources best put into the three race rounds.
