Warwick Dragway launched their quarter mile drag racing scene in spectacular style over the weekend, the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars delivered a fantastic show as they always do alongside an army of other eager racers keen to test the brand new racing surface.
After a long sabbatical following major upgrades to the South-East Queensland venue, Warwick Dragway roared back into life with the distinctive dak-dak engine notes the ever popular VW Nationals event brings.
The popular South-East Queensland regional track had recently received government funding for some extensive upgrades including expanding the venue to the full quarter mile racing distance.
Some creative thinking and a bunch of pent-up drag racing energy created the first ever Junga Bunga’s No Prep Cash Days event at Warwick Dragway on Saturday, July 25.
