American star Ron Capps driving the “LA Hooker” looked to have the goods on the field early on before Rick Gauci stepped up in the Nitro Express ’57 with a record breaking 5.69 taking the victory on ET countback in the final round. The APSA Pro Street Grand Finals were also held in conjunction with the Outlaw Nitro event, the Pro Street guys and girls put on a another awesome display with their abuse of horsepower. Following yet another successful year the JP Racing Eighth Mile Drag Racing Series is set to return in 2014. Warwick Dragway will host the first round of the 2014 series, which will also travel to Willowbank Raceway, Benaraby Raceway and Ironbark Raceway across the year.
