The second and final day of the brand-new Santo’s Cranes Super 3 Extreme Drag Race at Willowbank Raceway has been punctuated by record-breaking passes, thrilling finals and a touch of emotion.
Australia witnessed its quickest ever drag racing pass on Saturday night at Willowbank Raceway when three times world champion Larry Dixon stormed to a 4.503 second time, as Queensland’s own Steve Read doubled up at the Santo’s Cranes Super 3 Extreme Drag Race.

Top Fuel Australia Limited, whilst not wanting to overshadow the Santos Cranes Super Extreme 3 drag race being conducted at Willowbank Raceway this weekend and the efforts of Santo Rapisarda, will be responding to Sydney Dragway’s recent press release regarding Top Fuel at the Nitro Championships at a more appropriate time.
Sydney Dragway would like to advise that the venue has worked closely with Top Fuel Australia Limited to meet their prize money requirements for the 2013 Sydney Nitro Champs.
With what has been a diabolical wet season for Willowbank Raceway, the clouds did part long enough for the running of the track championship points earner on the 16th March.
