It’s on again !! More smokin’, slidin’ action and more pad time at Heathcote Park !!

Australian Top Doorslammer competitor Sean Mifsud has always liked a car different from the rest.

Competition drag racing at Hidden Valley is set to take another leap in 2012 with a new Top Alcohol Funny Car being purchased by Territory based Top Doorslammer competitor, Scott MacLean.

With Modified and Junior Dragster taking a break from the Boxing Day event at Perth Motorplex, there was a very manageable 150 entries or so allowing for four qualifying sessions across most categories.

  Another massive event on the calendar has been announced and is set to draw a huge field of rodders from across Victoria and interstate. The Marsh Rodders always run a fantastic event, a highlight on Heathcote Park’s annual schedule.

Following the resignations on 19/12/2011 by the Chairman Sam Sofi, Honarary Treasure Pieter Versluis and Director Santo Rapisarda a meeting was held 21/12/2011 with a unanimous vote from the members present to continue forward with the AGM.

  In an exciting development for South Australian motorsport fans, the Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) and Racing Onn Promotions have commenced negotiations to bring the ANDRA Pro Series to Adelaide International Raceway on April 14 and 15.

The Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) board has approved the use of shorter racing distances including eighth mile (201.1 metres) and 1000 feet (304.8 metres) for championship racing.
