Nearly half the entries at the 2010 FUCHS Australian Nationals held over the weekend of September 11th and 12th at Sydney Dragway came from outside New South Wales.

The preparation and build up to the Australian Nationals at Sydney Dragway over the weekend of 10-12 September started on Monday 7th September with the McDonalds 3 minute guarantee drive thru promotion. The day was a great success with a lot of people on hand to see the filming of the promotion.

Right from the beginning of the weekend, everyone knew that Pro Stock was going to be the bracket of the 2010 Fuchs Australian Nationals – and that it was. The event provided the quickest ever 16 car field in Australian Pro Stock history with the bump being a stout 7.18 seconds.

The 2010 Fuchs Nationals held last weekend at Sydney Dragway proved to be a challenge for three times National Champion John Zappia, when he failed to qualify in the ANDRA Top Doorslammer field. This was the first time in four years that the team failed to qualify.

The Fuchs Australian Nationals is the most prestigious drag race in the country and the 2010 edition is what could be best described as the Upset Nationals.

PAC Performance would be represented by the flagship of the team, the Mazda 6, running BB/SC and Damien McKern in the little green RX2 rocket “GRUMP2”, AA/OM, both in the Super Compact bracket.
