Mal Bulley has been announced as the new CEO of the Australian National Drag Racing Association following a month long search.

It’s with regret that the Jason Hedges Racing team announce that they won’t be contesting the 2013 ANDRA Pro Series season.  

The 2012 Fuchs Winternationals at Willowbank International Raceway, Queensland Australia was the most dramatic event of the year for ANDRA Pro Series Australian Top Doorslammer teams – with inclement weather, extended race days, team withdrawals, nail-biting “championship on the line” runs, pending retirements, upset wins, and quickest passes in history – all playing center stage at various times of the event.

Yesterday PAC Performance revealed their new Mazda 6 SP weapon and they believe its packing the artillery required to take back the rotary world record.

Australian Drag Racing Legend Gary Phillips has claimed yet another ANDRA Pro Series Top Alcohol crown, taking his championship tally to sixteen.

On Thursday night the BDRA held a meeting at the Bairnsdale RSL to outline its recovery and development strategy for the recently vandalised Bairnsdale drag strip. Local drag racers from Bairnsdale and also from as far away as Canberra and Sydney attended to ask questions about BDRA plans for the future of the facility. Police and council representatives also attended.

ANDRA’s Best Engineered Vehicle Award is a prestigious honour for Australian built drag racing vehicles, the winner at this year’s Fuchs Winternationals was Super Compact competitor Chris Tait in his Toyota-powered Nissan 200SX.

Greg and Kim Clayton had no plans for drag racing during 2012. It was decided to put their supercharged altered Competition car away in the workshop and concentrate on business and family life for the year.

Darren Morgan is enjoying basking in the glory of his third ANDRA Top Fuel championship following his nail biting series win over challengers Damien Harris and Andrew Cowin.

The never give up attitude was on full display at Willowbank Raceway today as final eliminations were completed for the rain-delayed Fuchs Winternationals.
