Sydney’s Top Fuel Xmas Showdown just got even more spectacular, with Shane Olive confirmed as the sixth 11,000hp/500km Top Fuel entry for the action-packed Saturday December 2 event, which will feature not only Top Fuel but also NDRC Pro Alcohol, FuelTech Pro Mod, and the Aeroflow National Sportsman Championship.
Lamattina Top Fuel Racing launched into the new NDRC Australian Top Fuel Championship season with a consistent showing, presenting a solid baseline on which to build a championship assault with Phil Lamattina reaching the B-Final at the grand opening of Dragway At The Bend.
35,000-plus race fans were treated to incredible Top Fuel performances at the bracket’s NDRC season opening Spring Nationals at the weekend, including 13 three second passes and five side-by-side ‘threes’, with six of those three second passes run at more than 500kph.

A sell-out crowd of 20,532 has revelled in the delights of the new National Drag Racing Championship (NDRC) today, with a similar sized crowd expected for tomorrow’s race day Sunday (22 October).
