Midnight Mayhem was a new radial tyre event venture from the Street|20 crew who have been running a series of popular private days at Sydney Dragway for sometime now. The 48th annual Goldenstates delivered plenty of action-packed races on Saturday evening at the Perth Motorplex as the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series competitors did all they could to take home the silver ANDRA Christmas Trees despite the challenges of cold conditions.
Day one of the 48th annual Goldenstates, featuring the latest rounds of the Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship and the Australian Drag Racing Championships for Top Doorslammer and Top Fuel Motorcycle, has concluded with the top qualifiers in each class celebrated ahead of racing tomorrow.

The first event of what is a new direction for the now named 400 Thunder Aeroflow Drag Racing Series was East Coast Thunder at Sydney Dragway. With the debut of Top Fuel Funny Car as the nitro headliners in championship form, a solid crowd rolled into Sydney Dragway to see what they had to offer.
