A difficult Winternationals campaign where strong potential was thwarted by breakages sees Hydraulink Jim Read Racing looking for vengeance at the upcoming Top Fuel final.

The fourth and final day of the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals saw another packed crowd enthralled with record-breaking and head-turning performances from the best of the best of Australian NDRC drag racing at Willowbank Raceway.

A record-breaking day three of NDRC Gulf Western Oil Winternationals action in front of a full house at Willowbank Raceway has set the stage for an epic conclusion to the biggest show in Australian drag racing tomorrow (Sunday June 8).

The largest championship drag racing event outside of North America is well underway at Willowbank Raceway with day two of the four day NDRC Gulf Western Oil Winternationals completed today ahead of further action Saturday and Sunday.

A remarkable 17-car field is locked and loaded for the second last-round of the 2025 NDRC Australian Top Doorslammer Championship at Willowbank Raceway for the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals.

In recognition of Dennis Syrmis’s enormous contribution to the sport of drag racing in Australia, the National Drag Racing Championship (NDRC) is pleased to announce that the Aeroflow National Sportsman Championship top national point scorer will be recognised with the Dennis Syrmis Award.
