The event, which takes place March 12 and 13, is the first Top Fuel championship round to be held in Victoria in a decade and sees all active teams and six Top Fuel cars heading to Mildura to race in their 10,000hp rocket ships.
The first eighth-mile event in the history of Top Fuel Championship racing will take place at Mildura’s Sunset Strip on March 12 and 13, with teams preparing for the unique challenge of the shorter distance.
The brand maybe extinct in production circles, but the Holden name will live on for a long time yet in drag racing with event like the Tuff Mounts Holden Drag Nationals at Heathcote Park Raceway.

Steel City Raceway has had a rough time of it in recent times, if COVID lockdowns didn’t cause enough disruptions, multiple flooding put strains on the only currently active South Australian drag strip.
