It’s with great pleasure that the Pro Stock Owners Association (PSOA) report that the 2011 Nitro Champs held at Sydney Dragway over the weekend April 29 – May 1 will be the largest ever Pro Stock field in ANDRA Pro Series history. At a Special General Meeting in Adelaide this morning, the vote to change the Australian National Drag Racing Association Inc to a company limited by guarantee was supported by over 97 percent of those voting. Members from four states were present at the meeting and hundreds of Proxy Voting Forms were processed under the scrutiny of the Returns Officer.

Darren Morgan’s exceptional ANDRA Pro Series Top Fuel season continued at Willowbank across the weekend – taking the AEG Powertools machine to the Top Fuel Championships win and extending his Championship lead to 122 points.

It was all about the locals at Willowbank Raceway’s Top Fuel Championships this evening; with two of the three ANDRA Pro Series categories – Top Fuel and Pro Stock Bike – coming down to state-pride battles between locals and Victorians, while the third, Top Bike, saw two Brisbanites battle for the win.
