This Thursday and Friday (September 1/2) the largest drag racing event ever seen in Alice Springs will descend on Alice Springs Inland Dragway (ASID) to kick off the Red CentreNATS festival.

This weekend Modified racer Fiona Crisp will join an exclusive list of Australian racers who have competed in the NHRA. Fiona will be driving the Randy Meyer Racing A/Fuel Top Alcohol Dragster in the Division 5 Lucas Oil Regional Series event at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, Kansas.

Day one of the Desert Nationals – round two of the 2022/2023 Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series – has lit up Alice Springs Inland Dragway today with impressive qualifying performances delivered by more than 80 racers.
Tommy Turic has immediately impressed upon stepping up from Summit Racing Equipment Junior Dragster, taking out the Super Street ANDRA Christmas Tree trophy in his very first Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series event in the senior ranks.
Alice Springs’ newest Junior Dragster racer, Annalyse Mowry, is excitedly looking forward to this weekend’s Desert Nationals at Alice Springs Inland Dragway where she will make her racing debut.
The first ANDRA Christmas Tree trophies for the 2022/2023 Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series season have been hoisted at the Hidden Valley Drag Strip this evening, following the conclusion of the season-opening Top End Nationals event.
