US turbo tuner Travis Quillen has landed in Australia courtesy of Hi Tech Oils to lend his vast knowledge to Competition Eliminator racers Ash Hamblin and Matt Lisle at the Winternationals.

The turbo V8 scene is really starting to explode in Australia, while the scene still doesn’t sit comfortably in regular ANDRA competition they are making a serious Pro Street assault.

At the end of April, defending Modified national Champion Kelly Corbett suffered a heartbreaking blow – crashing her NSANE.net.au Modified dragster during qualifying for the penultimate round of the Rocket All Stars Racing Series chase.

The 2010/2011 ANDRA Pro Series Pro Stock season has not been the season that the Porters Racing team had hoped for. Business commitments and inclement weather have hampered their efforts but the focus is now on the Winternationals.

As far as last minute inclusions into the 44th Castrol EDGE Winternationals Top Fuel field goes – they don’t come much bigger than NHRA superstar, Cory McClenathan – who will take to the wheel of a Rapisarda Racing machine for the event at Willowbank Raceway, June 10-13.

Sydney Dragway recently held the 2011 NSW Junior Dragster Titles, sponsored by Rapisarda Racing in what turned out to be a fun filled day for everyone involved.

Junior Dragfest is set to blast off at its new home Warwick Dragway on June 4th and 5th keeping the event tradition alive.
