Round five of the Queensland Drag Racing Championship ran relatively smoothly to completion as the series heads for the finish line when a new batch of Willowbank Raceway Track Champions will be crowned.

With perfect weather on offer, it looked like a perfect day’s racing was ahead, that was until the Queensland Government dropped a COVID-19 related bomb on the event, announcing a strict lockdown would be enforced from 4pm that afternoon.
