Another packed gallery showing the sights and colour at the 52nd MacTrack Westernationals coming to you from the Perth Motorplex.
The inaugural Nitro Max East vs West Showdown at the Perth Motorplex pitted the BME Nitro Max group of the West against the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars of the East. While all the teams were competing for individual glory, what really mattered was the Gold Rocket Trophy for the winning team.
Shane Page is hoping to maintain his status as the only person to have ever won the Garrett Advancing Motion Street Drags Pro Class category in Rare Spares Rockynats history with a third-straight victory in Rockhampton this Easter (April 7-9).
The Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars are on their way back to Perth Motorplex this weekend to take on the best of the West in the BME Nitro Max series. Leading the charge for the Aeroflow stables will be Josh Leahy in the Bandit Pontiac Trans Am.

A bumper 52nd MACTrack Westernationals at the Perth Motorplex was headlined by round 5 of the Burson Auto Part Australian Top Fuel Championship in conjunction with Australian Drag Racing Championship round of Top Doorslammer and Top Bike plus the ANDRA Grand Finals for the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series.
At the recent ANDRA Grand Finals, part of the 52nd Westernationals at the Perth Motorplex, there was no shortage of ANDRA Christmas Tree trophies hoisted by grinning recipients following the conclusion of the 2022/2023 Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series.
Hydraulink Jim Read Racing is pleased to announce that Snap-on has returned as a Supporting Partner for the team as it continues to chase the Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship.
At the recent ANDRA Grand Finals, held as part of the 52nd Westernationals at the Perth Motorplex across March 4 and 5, four new national records were set across the 1320ft distance:
Lisa Gregorini was all smiles at the Westernationals, which included the latest rounds of the Australian Drag Racing Championship (ADRC) for Top Doorslammer and Top Fuel Motorcycle, as well as for the Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship.

When you’ve had a drag racing career as long as John Zappia’s, it’s fair to say there will be events you would rather forget. The 52nd annual MacTrack Westernationals fits firmly into that category for the many-times Top Doorslammer champion.
Earlier this month, the Australian National Drag Racing Association was thrilled to welcome two new members to its board: Ian Brown and Katie Cassar, both from Victoria.
