It is with great sadness that Top Fuel Racing Australia announces that Sam Fenech, driver of the Fabietti Racing Doorslammer, has succumbed to injuries suffered in a racing accident at Willowbank Raceway and passed away this evening (Saturday Jan 7).

Another hard fought Speed Adict Clothing NSW Championship has been run and won in 2022 at Sydney Dragway.
The 400 Thunder Aeroflow Drag Racing series today confirmed that from 2024 it will change the season format from the current financial-year season that has traditionally ended with the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway in June, to a calendar year season more in line with other major sporting leagues and series. This change does not affect any events in the current 400 Thunder Aeroflow Drag Racing Series Super Season.
John Zappia lifted a rollercoaster season with a winning performance in the third round of the WA Summer Slam Series, solidifying his position at the top of the points standings.
The West Coast Summer Slam Top Doorslammer series returned to action at Perth Motorplex, with a strong 11 car field chasing points in the local series.
The 400 Thunder Aeroflow Drag Racing Series in conjunction with Heathcote Park Raceway is disappointed to confirm that the Goldfields Thunder event, scheduled to take place on 11-12 February 2023, will not be proceeding as planned.
